We are committed to serving the diabetes community

Working as an event and communication manager for Ascensia Diabetes Care in Poland has been a great experience for many reasons. Every day I have the chance to continue showing our commitment to our customers and the diabetes community. I believe that our involvement with global diabetes initiatives really sets us apart from other companies.  

For me, working with Ascensia has been personally inspirational. Following some personal health challenges, I was able to return to work and help others who face life threatening situations every day. It is easy to get excited about work knowing that at the end of the day I will either directly or indirectly be helping people. Ascensia challenges me to grow. Whether through initiatives like the JDRF Ride to Cure Diabetes or with new and exciting work opportunities, I can always count on opportunities to show my unique abilities.

Although we are global, we retain a small company feel

While Ascensia has operations in many markets, our teams maintain a close knit environment that allows us to act with the agility of a much smaller company.

I have been privileged to meet and work with people from all over the globe, who are willing to share their expertise and collaborate in finding creative ways to solve problems. Our leadership team also actively encourages two way communication between themselves and employees by providing timely and accurate updates on the latest developments, as well as encouraging regular feedback. The small company feel where we can share our ideas and concerns directly with those who control the decision making process makes me feel valued and excited to come to work every day.

We are customer focused and provide great tools for diabetes management

I am extremely proud of our products. I have been stopped many times by a random customer who wants to talk about how our blood glucose meters have helped them or their loved ones. This type of feedback is always inspiring to me. It encourages me to continue working hard to bring our glucose meters to more and more people in my region, using real world examples of how they can change lives. 

 It makes me very confident when I’m talking to healthcare providers and patients, using real world examples of how our products change lives. It is also something to be proud of, representing such an important part of people’s lives. There are always selling points for products, but at Ascensia it is special to be able to use feedback from customers to explain why our products stand out. It makes my job easier, but also more rewarding, knowing that we have something, not only that I believe in, but also that our consumers strongly believe in. To me that is the best example of how Ascensia lives its value of demonstrating excellence.

I’m proud to be a member of the global supply chain team at Ascensia Diabetes Care. Central to my professional drive is the opportunity to provide our customers with products that feature best-in-class accuracy, features and ease of use.

As part of a small but impactful team, my coworkers and I embrace diverse responsibilities beyond our core responsibilities. The opportunity to work on projects outside of my direct area of expertise has played a huge role in my professional development.
